Description

This lecture covers the basics of eye-tracking technology, its development and applications. You will learn how an eye-tracker works, how it is calibrated and how to analyze eye-tracking data. We will cover how sequential information can be included in scanpath comparison and the use of deep learning in semantic scene analysis. Applications on gaze interaction and potential use cases as well as pitfalls of gaze-based interaction are discussed.
